One of the three founding and present purposes of The Woman's Club of Winter Park, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charitable organization founded in 1915, is "To associate members and the public in charitable and educational efforts for the citizens of Winter Park and surrounding areas."
The Source
Our charitable giving funds come from fundraising events hosted by the Club and from individual donations by members and friends.
The Calendar
Grants are distributed each spring — usually in April. The deadline to apply for funding is March 1st each year.
The Eligible
Eligibility is extended to actively operating 501(c)(3) organizations in Orange and Seminole counties. Apply online or download the application and mail it in.
Each year our members give time, gifts, and grants to local causes including:
Members fill stockings for the Salvation Army for distribution to children and adults in need.
We provide school supplies in the late summer and gifts during the holidays for single-parent families.
We support local non-profits by collecting non-perishable food, cleaning supplies, and personal-care items.
A longstanding partner supported through fundraising and member service activities.
Supporting families experiencing homelessness across Central Florida.
Supporting cultural and performing-arts enrichment in our community.
We also support Winter Park holiday activities — decorating the Morse Avenue tree with the City of Winter Park — along with Dress for Success and the Orlando Rescue Mission through our annual Spring Project.

Ways & Means
The goal of the Ways and Means Committee is to raise funds for charitable giving while involving as many club members as possible. Our signature fundraisers include the annual Rummage Sale and our beloved Founder's Day celebration, which marks the Club's founding each year.
In January 2015 the Club celebrated 100 years of organization. Every dollar raised flows back into the community through our charitable giving and scholarship programs.
Lend a Hand
Your gift directly funds grants to local non-profits and scholarships for deserving students. Non-profits seeking funding are welcome to reach out about the application process.
